Elizabeth is a Participation and Capacity Development Analyst for the Mexican Climate Community in WRI México. Her principal topics include capacity building in virtual environments and training in environmental issues.

She was Coordinator of the Mesoamerican Center for the exchange of forestry knowledge and experiences. She also coordinated the area of capacity development and communication for the project Strengthening of sustainable forest management with a landscape approach. Both projects are initiatives of the United Nations Development Program in Mexico and the National Forestry Commission.

Elizabeth is a Communicologist from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and has a Master's Degree in Communication with a line of research in Education from the same institution. She made a research stay in the Educational Technology Research Group at the University of Salamanca in Spain and has a Diploma in Environmental Communication from the Research Center for Sustainable Development.
