Jason Winik is a Data Analyst Intern for Resource Watch. He investigates data on the Resource Watch platform and conducts geospatial analyses to support agenda-setting blogs.

Prior to joining WRI, Jason was a Senior Energy Analyst for Resource Energy where he completed utility billing analyses and sustainability reports for large commercial properties. He has also spent time at the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), and the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START). Jason is currently a Master of Public Policy student at the University of Chicago.

He holds a B.S. in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park.
