Jannik Schulz is an intern for WRI’s Global Development team, working on the Government sector. He is focusing on conducting research and analysis on prospective government partners and providing support to WRI’s overall government fundraising, outreach and engagement efforts.

He is currently following a master’s in Global Political Economy at Leiden University.

Prior, Jannik worked as an intern at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) New York office. He holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Sciences with a major in Governance from the University College Freiburg and studied for one year at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

In his free time, he enjoys photography, swimming or hiking, and recently started playing flag football.
