Jacqueline Kantor
Communications Associate

Jacqueline Kantor is a communications associate for World Resources Institute’s media & strategic communications team and the Electric School Bus Initiative.
She previously worked as an associate editor at The Ringer/Spotify and spent a decade-plus in journalism as a reporter, editor, and freelance contributor for outlets including The Washington Post, the New Orleans Advocate, Pacific Standard, Jezebel, espnW, and the New York Times.
Jacqueline has an M.S. in global challenges for sustainability from CHARM-EU, a five-university alliance. At the University of Barcelona and University of Montpellier, she focused on potable water access in Chiapas, Mexico; climate migration; and circularity in agriculture. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in journalism and a minor in geography and creative writing.
Before returning to the D.C. area, Jacqueline lived in Barcelona and New Orleans, where she taught middle school English. She enjoys running, barre, open-water swimming, reading, and learning Arabic and Spanish.
