Ivy Murgor
Program Manager, Air Quality, WRI Africa Ross Center for Sustainable Cities

Ivy is the Air Quality Program Manager based in Nairobi, Kenya. She provides overall project management for the air quality program and works to ensure cross programmatic initiatives are interlinked. She also provides technical advisory for the program. She works closely with air quality practitioners across the continent in the implementation of the air quality actions.
She has extensive work experience in the private sector as a project manager and technical advisor providing technical assistance mainly in climate change in Africa, Caribbean and Pacific regions. She has worked with Governments and major donors such as the World Bank, European Union African Development Bank and the Italian Agency for Development Corporation. Ivy has also worked in resource development supporting the design of community-based programs.
Ivy holds a master’s degree in Environmental Governance from the University of Essex, and a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Moi University.
