Hannah Harasaki
U.S. Policy Engagement Specialist

Hannah Harasaki is a Policy Engagement Specialist for the Carbon Removal and Industrial Innovation team in WRI's U.S. Climate Program. Her work focuses on incorporating environmental justice and equity principles into the team's projects, as well as carrying out research, outreach, and engagement strategies.
Before joining WRI, Hannah worked on various projects that researched carbon removal pathways, urban reforestation, and the intersection of environmental justice with ESG. In years prior, she managed the operations at World Affairs in San Francisco.
Hannah holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science and Policy from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Global Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
