Grace Canfield
Group Product Manager, Global Forest Watch/Global Nature Watch
Grace is the Group Product Manager for the Global Nature Watch and Global Forest Watch product line. She leads product strategy, integration, and delivery across a portfolio of geospatial tools that provide intelligence on land use, deforestation, and ecosystem change for governments, companies, and civil society to inform decisions for nature-based solutions.
She works across product, engineering, research, and engagement teams to ensure that WRI’s data is accessible, interpretable, and impactful for real-world decisions. She also leads a team of GFW/GNW product managers and helps shape how product teams operate and collaborate within the Data Lab at WRI.
Prior to joining WRI, Grace was a Director of Product Management at Viget, a product development agency. She led cross-functional teams to deliver digital products for commercial and nonprofit clients including Progressive Insurance and the Bronx Zoo. Grace values curiosity, integrity, and collaboration in her work.
Grace holds a B.A. in Marketing Communications from Juniata College. She lives in Burlington, Vermont with her husband, Mike, and their two cats. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, discovering new music, cooking, and practicing yoga.
