Gabriella Ribeiro
Senior Grant Management and Engagement Specialist

Gabriella Ribeiro is a Senior Grant Management and Engagement Specialist within the Government and Multilateral Relations team, based in the WRI Europe - London Office. She provides project and management support to the five year strategic partnership grant between WRI and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Danida). She also contributes to annual reporting, event organization, stewardship, and strategic engagement activities for WRI's other bilateral European partners.
Prior to joining WRI, Gabriella worked as a Grants Manager within the International Grants portfolio at the Royal Society, an independent scientific academy of the UK dedicated to promoting excellence in science for the benefit of humanity. Previous to that, she worked as a Grants Officer and Grants and Awards Lead for the Ormiston Trust, where she led a large grant-making portfolio available to schools and organizations across the UK aimed to support children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds engage in youth social action projects.
She holds an MSc in International Social and Public Policy with a specialization in Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where she received the Loch Exhibition Prize for Academic Achievement. She also holds a BA (Honors) in Global Development Studies and World Language Studies from Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada.
Gabriella is originally from Vermont, USA and in her free time, she enjoys taking film photographs, cheering on the Arsenal, and searching for London’s best bagel.
