Gabi is a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Coordinator for the Cities4Forests team. She conducts research, analyzes data, produces content, and provides coordinating support to advance project goals related to nature-based solutions around the world. Her main focus is on expanding MEL capacity for projects that seek to enhance water security.

Prior to joining WRI, Gabi had broad experiences in environmental science and sustainability research. During her time at NASA, she analyzed coral reef changes through remote sensing and gathered data using diverse air sampling techniques, which included flying on NASA's DC-8. With experience as a strawberry researcher for an indoor vertical farm and as the manager of her local farmers market, Gabi aims to strengthen a food system that prioritizes well-being and environmental stewardship.

She recently graduated with a Master's in Sustainability Management from the Kogod School of Business at American University, and previously received a B.S. in Physics from Adelphi University, where she received multiple awards for her work in the natural sciences.

Gabi loves to travel, bake for her friends' birthdays, and spend time with others in nature.
