Felipe Ferreira Naves
Research Analyst, Forests and Land Use, WRI Brasil
Felipe is a Research Analyst at WRI Brasil, part of the Forests and Land Use team. His work focuses on Atlantic Forest restoration, developing technical analyses and publications that generate evidence to inform public policy and strategic decision-making.
Before joining WRI Brasil, he worked on the management, implementation, and monitoring of ecological restoration projects in the Atlantic Forest at an environmental consulting firm. He also conducted research in plant ecology in the Cerrado biome in the state of Minas Gerais.
Felipe holds a degree in Biological Sciences, a Master’s in Ecology and Conservation of Natural Resources from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), and an MBA in Ecological Restoration and Environmental Licensing from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar).
