Fahri is the Climate Modeler at WRI Indonesia. Within the Climate team, he is responsible for the Green Economy modelling of emissions from multiple sectors using the system dynamics methodology. He drives evidence-based policy recommendations to drive emissions reduction whilst enhancing economic growth. Several key activities include the study on Socio-economic Activities of Indonesia's Net Zero Energy Transition, National and Subnational Medium Term Development Plans, and Strategic Environmental Study.

Prior to joining WRI, he was the Environment, Health, and Safety Intern at General Electric in which he worked on the decarbonization of factory appliances and Environmental Impact Assessments.

Fahri holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Environmental Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung. His undergraduate research focused on the transport of ozone and its precursors from anthropogenic activities within the Greater Jakarta area. During his free time, he likes to go to the gym, enjoy morning walks, and play musical instruments (flute, piano, and guitar).
