Elise Pitcairn is the Grants and Finance Specialist for the Food Program. Elise is a part of the Grants and Finance Specialists team within the Food, Forests, Water, and Ocean Programs, and she supports activities for the Shifting Diets initiative through grants and contract management.

Prior to joining WRI, Elise worked as Director of Operations and Global Engagement Programs for WorldBoston, a World Affairs Council. In this role, she managed organizational operations and 40 public programs annually to deliver the mission of fostering engagement in international affairs and cooperation with peoples of all nations.

Elise holds a B.A. from Ohio Wesleyan University in Politics and Government, and a MSc from the University of Edinburgh in Global Environment, Politics, and Society.
