Ece Ömür
Urban Resilience Manager, WRI Türkiye

Ece Ömür joined WRI Türkiye team in 2024, serving as an Urban Resilience Manager, where she leads projects focused on urban climate resilience and sustainable transformation. With over 10 years of experience, she has contributed to the success of international projects by establishing strategic collaborations with public and private sector organizations across Türkiye, Europe, and Central Asia.
Previously, she held roles at prominent institutions such as Enterprise Singapore, the Netherlands Innovation Network, the Turkish Entrepreneurship Foundation (TEF), WRI Türkiye, and the Turkish Cultural Foundation-AFS Turkey (TKV), gaining expertise in diverse fields. Ece has specialized particularly in business development, entrepreneurship and innovation management, climate resilience strategies, and social impact-focused projects.
Ece holds a bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Yıldız Technical University and a master’s degree in Social Projects and NGO Management from Istanbul Bilgi University. In addition to her educational background, she has been actively working with non-governmental organizations since 2011 and is a member of the AFS Volunteers Association.
