DJ Gross
Project Manager, Electric School Bus Initiative, WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities
DJ Gross is the Project Manager for the Electric School Bus Initiative. He oversees the ESBI's year-to-year workplan and project progress on the nationwide transition of all school buses to electric by 2030.
Previously, DJ was the Operations Manager for WRI's Core Communications team, managing their budget and working to implement and monitor WRI's Integrated Funding Model. Prior to WRI, DJ worked at Planned Parenthood Federation of America and Planned Parenthood Action Fund for 3 years as a Finance Coordinator and Budget Analyst. At Planned Parenthood, DJ worked with program teams to ensure they stayed within budget and reviewed payments for 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) compliance.
DJ holds a BA in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis and is pursuing an MPA from American University.
DJ is proud to originally be from New Jersey. He currently lives in Northern Virginia with his fiancée, Rebecca, and dog, Penny. In his spare time, he enjoys playing guitar and reading.
