Diana Chavez Acosta
Finance and Operations Manager, WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities

Diana Chavez Acosta is a Finance and Operations Manager in the Cities team within the WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. She works with project, grant and financial management for multi-year- multi-faceted international grants across the Urban Development team.
Prior to joining WRI, Diana worked as Chief of Operations in a business group in Oklahoma, where she performed different functions in Operations, Finances, Management and Human Resources.
Diana holds a M.S. in International Studies from Oklahoma State University, focused on preservation of ecological resources, as well as graduate certificates in: Global Issues, Business Sustainability and Non-Profit Management from the same University.
She graduated from her bachelor's degree in business administration in Mexico back in 2015, and in most recent years, she has completed certifications in: Spanish/English Interpretation from the Supreme Court, Outsmarting Implicit Bias from Harvard Business School Online, as well as language and data analytics courses.
