Dan Dredger
Communications & Engagement Specialist, WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities
Dan Dredger is the Communications & Engagement Specialist for the WRI Ross Center Prize for Cities, where he leads strategic communications, stakeholder engagement and project and event coordination to amplify the Prize’s impact. He develops and implements cross-channel communications strategies, builds relationships with global urban leaders and oversees the delivery of high-profile milestones that spotlight transformative urban change.
Prior to joining WRI, Dan served as Communications Manager for the United Nations Foundation, where he led award-winning campaigns for the Clean Cooking Alliance. He spearheaded the global “Clean Cooking Is…” initiative and the 10 Years of Impact commemoration, using strategic storytelling and cross-sector collaboration to elevate clean energy solutions and engage key stakeholders across government, business and civil society.
Dan holds a Master of Public Policy from Duke University and a Master of Education from Arizona State University. He is passionate about helping mission-driven organizations communicate their impact across the global development landscape.
