Dan Dredger is the Communications & Engagement Specialist for the WRI Ross Center Prize for Cities, where he leads strategic communications, media outreach, and stakeholder engagement to amplify the Prize’s impact. He develops and executes multi-channel campaigns, crafts compelling content, and collaborates with urban changemakers to highlight transformative solutions for sustainable and inclusive cities.

Prior to joining WRI, Dan served as Communications Manager for the United Nations Foundation, where he led award-winning campaigns for the Clean Cooking Alliance. He spearheaded the global "Clean Cooking Is..." initiative and the 10 Years of Impact commemoration, using strategic storytelling, media engagement, and partnerships to elevate clean energy solutions. His work helped secure top-tier media coverage, strengthen digital engagement, and mobilize key stakeholders across government, business, and civil society.

Dan holds a Master of Public Policy from Duke University and a Master of Education from Arizona State University. He is passionate about using communications to drive action on urban sustainability, climate resilience, and social equity.
