Clare is Senior Operations & Engagement Manager within the Ocean Program. She is responsible for organising meetings and events for the High Level Panel for a Sustainable Ocean Economy (Ocean Panel); co-ordinating development efforts, monitoring project delivery; and overseeing financial management as part of the wider Ocean Program.

Prior to joining WRI, Clare worked in operations and international relations roles for over 20 years in organizations including the British Council, the Mayor of London’s office, C40 and the Global Ocean Commission.

Clare holds a BA in European Business Studies and French from the University of Humberside.

Clare is originally from Washington (North East England, not DC!) but now lives in London and enjoys watching television, baking and pilates.
