Christopher M. Ede-Calton
Senior Engagement Manager, Land & Carbon Lab
Christopher Ede-Calton is the Senior Engagement Manager for Land & Carbon Lab. Through this work he manages partnerships with civil society, governments, business, financial institutions, and all entities that may be interested in preserving our planet.
Prior to his current role, he supported the institute’s work with the Global Covenant of Mayors by leading international outreach to 21 countries and managing a network of over 20 D.C.-based country embassies. He also worked as Research Analyst for the U.S. Climate Initiative, U.S. China Track II Dialogue on Energy, Climate Change, and Sustainable Development, and WRI Business Center’s work with U.S. companies.
Prior to joining WRI, Christopher served as Special Advisor to H.E. Ambassador Stuart Beck at the Mission of Palau to the United Nations.
Christopher has a B.A. in International Affairs from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon.
In his free time he practices Systema and other forms of martial arts.
