Christopher Ede-Calton is the Engagement Manager for the Global Climate Program. He supports the institute’s work with the Global Covenant of Mayors by leading international outreach to 21 countries and managing a network of over 20 D.C.-based country embassies. In addition, Christopher works with international city networks to synergize national and local climate action.

Prior to his current role, he worked as Research Analyst for the U.S. Climate Initiative, U.S. China Track II Dialogue on Energy, Climate Change, and Sustainable Development, and WRI Business Center’s work with U.S. companies. Prior to joining WRI, Christopher served as Special Advisor to H.E. Ambassador Stuart Beck at the Mission of Palau to the United Nations.

Christopher has a B.A. in International Affairs from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon.
