Charlotte Schep
Grants & Finance Specialist, Sustainable Ocean Initiative

Charlotte is Grants and Finance Specialist for the Sustainable Ocean Initiative. Together with her colleagues, she works to expand the Ocean programme by overseeing budgets, grants, contracts, and subcontracts for the Sustainable Ocean Initiative.
Prior to joining WRI, Charlotte worked in grants management at the Earth Journalism Network, a project of Internews, working to support journalists all over the world to cover the environment more effectively. Her work involved directly coordinating partners and grantees in programs covering the Asia-Pacific, Europe and Africa regions often focussed on issues such as overfishing, wildlife trafficking and climate change.
Charlotte holds a Masters of Science in Conservation from University College London.
She is an avid traveller, having recently spent 5 months traveling around East Africa, enjoys wildlife photography and currently lives in London.
