Celine Novenario
Communications Manager, Climate, Economics and Finance Program

Celine Novenario is the Communications Manager for the Climate, Economics and Finance Program. She is responsible for developing and executing impactful communications strategies to encourage countries to transition to climate-resilient, nature-positive and low-carbon development pathways.
Celine has worked in communications for international organizations and think tanks for over 15 years. Before joining WRI, Celine was the Senior Communications Manager at the Global Center on Adaptation, which focuses on climate-proofing development, building on the work of the Global Commission on Adaptation. Celine has also worked as a Communications Officer at the Carnegie Climate Governance Initiative, the World Meteorological Organization, and the United Nations.
Celine has a Master of Science in Global Affairs from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Ateneo de Manila University. Originally from the Philippines, Celine lives in the Netherlands with her family and enjoys biking through the heathlands of Het Gooi.
