Catlyne Haddaoui is the Urban Development Research Manager at the Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. Prior to this role, Catlyne oversaw the Global Research and Policy Program of the Coalition for Urban Transitions. She is an economist by background and her research interests include the economic case for low-carbon urban development, national urban policies in developing countries and multi-level governance for coordinated action on sustainable and inclusive cities.

Prior to joining WRI, Catlyne previously worked as a researcher at the Overseas Development Institute (ODI), and as an economist at the Department for International Development of the French Minister of Foreign Affairs. She also has work experience in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Catlyne holds a MPhil in Development Economics from the Centre for Studies and Research on International Development (France).
