Carla Carpio
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Manager
Carla is the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager for the NDC Partnership, where she oversees the M&E for the Partnership’s work program including the existing framework and related processes.
Previously, Carla was a Strategy and Resource Advisor for the Opportunity’s for the Majority Department (OMJ) at the Inter-American Development Bank, where she was responsible for the department’s strategy and program execution. Furthermore, she was responsible for the implementation of new initiatives and programs to enhance the portfolio including definition of new indicators to measure activity and impact management on the different programs.
This included disbursement of OMJ’ portfolio for approx. US$200 Million. OMJ was the first and only operational BoP unit in a Multilateral Development Bank.
Carla has also spent various years of her career fostering collaboration and cross-cutting operations to generate and promote learning products across sectors and different multilateral organizations. She has previously worked for the Global Upstream Department at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) as well as at the World Bank Group Trust Fund and Loan Operations (WFATL) Department.
She is a Peruvian citizen and holds a Master’s degree in Science from Marymount University in Virginia, USA. She also holds a Certificate on Corporate Finance from Georgetown University.
In her spare time, she volunteers in different films festivals, practice yoga and enjoy walking in the woods with her dog.
