Cam Petersen
Coolfood Membership Experience Specialist

Cam Petersen is the Membership Experience Specialist for the Coolfood program. He works to support the delivery of the Coolfood member training experiences, in addition to building relationships and identifying how the Coolfood initiative can help members on their sustainability journey.
Before joining WRI, he worked at various non-profit organizations where he helped carry out regional Farm to School campaigns; taught nutrition and gardening curriculum at public primary schools; and supported grant seeking efforts by writing and editing proposals. He is a former FoodCorps and Peace Corps Volunteer.
Cam holds a BA in History and English from San Diego State University, an MSc in Sustainable Food Systems from Arizona State University's Swette Center, and a certificate in Integrative Nutrition from University of California, San Diego.
He lives with his wife and two cats in Washington, DC, and enjoys hiking, foraging, and learning to play new instruments.
