Benjamin Hayman
Senior Manager of State and Local Policy for Transportation Electrification, Energy Program
Ben Hayman is the Senior Manager of State and Local Policy for Transportation Electrification with the US Energy Team. He supports the Electric School Bus Initiative.
Ben has worked on climate and clean energy policy for over a decade. Prior to joining WRI, he was the Director of National Organizing for the Climate Action Campaign. He also spent several years at Oceana and Repower America. During this time, he had the opportunity to work on climate and clean energy issues in dozens of states across the country.
Ben holds a B.A. from the University of Vermont. He is an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoys hiking, backpacking, and snowboarding. He lives in Takoma Park, MD with his wife, daughter, and crazy hound dog.
