Ashley Junger
Communications Specialist, Greenhouse Gas Protocol
Ashley Junger is a Communications Specialist on the Greenhouse Gas Protocol team. She works to support the communication of main milestones in GHG Protocol’s standards update process through digital marketing and team member coordination.
Prior to joining WRI, Ashley worked as an environmental writer, editor, and journalist. She held a position as a Multimedia & Grants Manager at Earthwatch Institute, an environmental nonprofit that connects people with scientists worldwide to conduct environmental research. She also worked as the Managing Editor of Possibly, a sustainability science radio show that airs weekly on Rhode Island's NPR station. Her work has also appeared in Oceanus, PBS NOVA Next, MIT News, and and MIT Tech Review, among other publications.
Ashley holds a B.A. in English Literature and Biology from DePauw University, as well as a M.S. in Science Writing from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Ashley lives in Somerville, MA with her fiancé, Parker, and dog, Olive.
