Ashley Junger
Engagement and Communications Manager, Governance, Greenhouse Gas Protocol
Ashley Jones is an Engagement and Communications Manager, working on WRI’s Greenhouse Gas Protocol. She leads governance communications and stakeholder engagement initiatives, crafting clear and engaging content that helps diverse stakeholders navigate complex climate and technical topics.
Prior to joining WRI, Ashley worked as an environmental writer and editor. She was as a Multimedia & Grants Manager at Earthwatch Institute, a nonprofit that connects people with scientists worldwide to conduct environmental research. She also worked as the Managing Editor of Possibly, a sustainability science radio show that airs weekly on Rhode Island's NPR station. Her work has also appeared in Oceanus, PBS NOVA Next, MIT News, and MIT Technology Review, among other publications.
Ashley holds a B.A. in English Literature and Biology from DePauw University, as well as an M.S. in Science Writing from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
