April is a Grants and Finance Specialist in the Climate program. She assists in the management of budgets and contracts for the Systems Change Lab.

Prior to joining WRI, April worked as the Budget and Grant Finance Compliance Officer at Ayuda, a local non-profits provides legal, social, and language services to help low-income immigrants in D.C. Metro area.

April holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from the Catholic University of America.

April lives in D.C. with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, yoga, and fitness.
