Apollonia Grace Ochieng
Grants Manager, P4G
Apollonia Ochieng is the Grants Manager for the Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030 (P4G) platform. She facilitates the financial and contractual processes for P4G’s sub-grants across its countries of operations.
Apollonia is an experienced finance professional with expertise in multi-donor, multi-country financial, grant, and administration management. Prior to joining WRI, Apollonia worked for SNV Netherlands and provided financial oversight to various projects. She gathered immense experience in financial and administration management, grantees contract management from selection to close out, developing sub-grantee tools, conducting financial and risk analysis, and guaranteeing financial resource accountability. She has worked with and familiarized herself with managing programs in Results Based Financing, Renewable Energy, regenerative Agriculture, Climate Resilience, Kenya government projects, and Leadership opportunities for women, previously she also worked for IBTCI, REDRUK, and RAMSAFRICA.
Apollonia holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in accounting from the University of Nairobi, a Master of Science degree in finance, and is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya.
