Angela Anderson
Director of Industrial Innovation
Angela Anderson is the Director of Industrial Innovation at WRI US. She leads WRI's work to decarbonize heavy industry. She directs research and analysis evaluating key technical and policy questions, and convenes stakeholders to advance solutions.
Angela’s career spans three decades in environmental protection as Director of the Climate and Energy Program at the Union of Concerned Scientists; International climate director at US Climate Action Network and the Pew Environmental Trust; and founded Clear the Air, a national coalition to reduce pollution from power plants.
Angela holds a B.A. in political science from Colorado State University.
She lives in Annandale, Virginia with two dogs and a cat. She spends her free time reading, gardening and playing with five funny and fabulous grandkids.
