Andrea Hohman is a Communications and Engagement Specialist with the US Energy team, supporting the institute's work on energy transitions, industrial decarbonization, and carbon removal.

Andrea was previously a member of WRI Finance Center's communication team, where she worked across public and private finance workstreams to shift financial flows to support sustainable development and climate action. Prior to joining WRI, Andrea conducted branding and marketing research with Cornell's Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise, studying ways to connect the natural fiber market in the Northeastern United States with larger textile economies. She holds a B.A. from Cornell University's College of Arts and Sciences where she majored in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.

Andrea currently lives in Seattle, Washington, where the enjoys spending time outside, fiber arts, and attending concerts.
