Allison Hess
Project Coordinator II

Allison Hess is a Project Coordinator II in the Climate department. She supports the National Climate Action team’s work through budget management, grant compliance, and outreach. Prior to joining WRI, Allison served as International Engagement Associate at the Unitarian Universalist Association where she connected congregations with opportunities to engage with international programs and UN initiatives, including managing the planning process for an annual intergenerational conference. She has also worked at Indego Africa, assisting with finances and operations in the organization’s offices in both New York City and Kigali, Rwanda.
Allison received her B.A. in French Studies from Colby College and has minors in Mathematics and Anthropology.
Allison lives in Rochester, New York with her spouse. In her free time, she loves to read, say hello to neighborhood dogs, and bake cookies and sourdough bread.
