Aline D'Ormesson is a Senior Development Manager for the Food and Land Use Coalition (FOLU). In this role, Aline will lead major fundraising projects to support a large and growing coalition grant portfolio. Aline will be directly responsible for Foundation, Corporate, and Individual donor relations managed through FOLU’s broad coalition (including nine global partners and six country platforms).

Prior ro joining WRI, Aline spent over 8 years working for the UN World Food Programme (WFP), both on the partnerships and programme side. She managed large resilience and livelihoods programmes in Asia and lead complex strategy development and change management projects, notably in West Africa. She also worked on strengthening WFP’s partnerships with international financial institutions such as the IMF or World Bank.

Prior to working with WFP, Aline was a strategy consultant for the private sector in Paris. Most recently she worked for Better Cotton, a multi-stakeholder initiative in the textile/ fashion sector representing close to a quarter of the world’s cotton, to help develop and roll-out a traceability solution that will enable brands and consumers to make more informed decisions in terms of cotton sustainability.

Aline has master degrees in law, anthropology, and business management. Outside of work, Aline loves reading a good book, spending time in Italy, going on an adventure (on a horse when possible, and ideally following some nomadic tribes) and also enjoys different forms of art.
