Adriana De la Calle Viscasillas is an Intern in the Global Restoration Initiative within the Food, Land and Water program. Her work primarily supports projects across the Invest and Motivate pillars, as well as on the TerraMatch platform.

She is currently pursuing a degree in International Politics at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, with minors in French and International Development and a certificate in International Business Diplomacy.

Previously, Adriana worked with the Inter-American Development Bank’s Office of Outreach and Partnerships, where she supported resource mobilization and partnership activities across Latin America and the Caribbean. Most recently, she conducted field research in Tanzania with Georgetown’s Initiative on Innovation, Development and Evaluation, collecting and analyzing data to inform the rollout of a national teacher training and e-learning program.

Adriana grew up in Nicaragua, where her family leads a reforestation project in the Río San Juan region. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, trying new foods, and finding any chance to be out on the water.
