Climate Finance Opportunities for Sustainable Landscape Management
Guatemala’s Ministry of Public Finance and the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food collaborated with WRI within the framework of the project "Transformational Project for NDC implementation" by the International Climate Initiative (IKI). This collaboration produced studies and concept notes for mobilizing climate finance towards Sustainable Landscape Management (SLM), including forest conservation, low-carbon and climate-resilient agriculture practices that could be implemented in Guatemala’s riparian and coastal zones and adjacent areas.
This event brings together stakeholders from diverse sectors to contribute to sustainable land management by sharing knowledge and resources. We will share the results with the aim of helping other landscape restoration initiatives in the region.
