Zero Carbon Buildings & Cities: Transformative Actions for the Built Environment
Multi-stakeholder action and radical collaboration on energy efficiency, embodied carbon, sustainable finance, and data-based solutions is urgently needed for a paradigm shift to a net-zero, efficient and resilient built environment. If action is not taken today, we risk locking emissions and vulnerability into our buildings and infrastructure, making future adaptation and mitigation increasingly costly.
This session will provide an avenue for stakeholders to showcase solutions (including City Sprints and Toolbox of Solutions, Zero Carbon Buildings Accelerator, Mission Efficiency), share experiences and best practices, and build momentum on ambitious implementation efforts for accelerating the transformation of the sector globally.
Speakers:
- Jennifer Layke, Global Director, Energy Program, WRI
