Our Solar Future: Roadmap to Mobilize USD 1 Trillion by 2030 Launch Event
World Resources Institute, the International Solar Alliance (ISA), and Bloomberg Philanthropies will launch the roadmap for scaling solar investment, developed in collaboration with CONCITO, the Investment Fund for Developing Countries, and the World Climate Foundation.
The launch event will highlight the key findings of the Roadmap and will feature panel discussions about its recommendations with high-level experts from WRI, ISA, CONCITO, Bloomberg Philanthropies, and the Danish pension fund PKA, as well as several government representatives. The Roadmap builds on the Solar Investment Action Agenda launched at COP26 and aims to meet a critical need for a massive, more equitable scale-up of solar energy to achieve global climate and development goals. It highlights actions that governments and finance institutions need to take to scale up public and private sector solar investment, particularly in developing regions, and recommends strategies for increasing collaboration to solve overarching challenges.
