This webinar will be the global launch for AgriAdapt, the beta version of a new tool co-designed and co-developed by WRI and stakeholders to help illustrate climate risks facing agricultural value chains.

Climate change is already affecting global agricultural value chains and the lives and livelihoods of those who depend on them. AgriAdapt is a free tool that allows agricultural value chain stakeholders to make better-informed decisions, considering the risk, exposure, and vulnerability that climate change is bringing, and how they are likely to impact their operations. The tool helps users identify and understand climate hazards for specific agricultural supply chains, allowing for multi-location analysis on the user’s areas of interest.

Watch the recording of the webinar to see AgriAdapt in action, hear about its co-development process with agricultural decision-makers, its potential applications, the in-country launches in India and Colombia, and a discussion of plans for future iterations of the tool.

Speakers include:

  • Rebecca Carter, Lead of Climate Resilience Practice, WRI
  • Leandro Vigna, Data Partnership and Outreach Manager, WRI
  • Tea Tüür, Product Manager, Earth Dashboard, WRI
  • Stefanie Tye, Climate Resilience Research Associate, WRI
  • Sergio Baldit, Communications Specialist, WRI

AgriAdapt is funded by the Walmart Foundation and was developed in collaboration with local partners: the National Agro Foundation and Clima y Café.
