This workshop will provide a unique space to exchange ideas using methods from the WRI New Ventures program with people working with corporate responsibility, social investment in emerging companies, and for entrepreneurs who develop environmental solutions.

In a small group setting, we will discuss the main issues that are common to entrepreneurs: relationships with companies, investors, nongovernmental organizations, government agencies, and multilateral agencies. To encourage dialogue, in-person or video testimonials of actual case studies will be used. We will apply the method of business acceleration from the New Ventures Program of the World Resources Institute, which helps environmental entrepreneurship grow in vibrant emerging markets through developing businesses, growing investment, and promoting global connections.
