How Behavior Change Programs Can Help More People Waste Less Food
How can we help more people to waste less food? This free webinar will dive into examples of consumer behavior change initiatives in the UK, the Netherlands, Denmark, Canada and elsewhere to share key lessons.
A full one-third of the food produced in the world goes uneaten each year. Households in many developed countries – and increasingly in developing ones, too – are behind a lot of this food waste. Data from the UN Environment Programme found that 60% of food waste happens in peoples' homes. So how can we help more people to waste less food?
Research is growing into what works and what doesn’t. This free webinar will dive into examples of consumer behavior change initiatives in the UK, the Netherlands, Denmark, Canada and elsewhere to share key lessons.
Halving food waste is an important target included in the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and a priority pillar in the first-ever UN World Food Summit. During this event, participants will have the chance to pose questions to experts behind some of the most prominent efforts to help consumers waste less food and contribute to a growing movement to use behavioral science to tackle this global challenge.
