Marianne Lee
Results, Learning and Insights Manager (PMEL Manager)
Marianne Lee is a Results, Learning and Insights Manager on the Managing for Results Team. She facilitates WRI's global planning and reporting cycle to develop the organization's annual work plan and results and learning report for core donors. She also manages the end-to-end Top Outcomes awards process and shapes learning initiatives that support WRI's programs measure and communicate their impact.
Prior to joining WRI, Marianne held roles at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources in the Philippines, the Asian Development Bank, and TRAFFIC International, a Cambridge-based organization working to ensure that trade in wild plants and animals is legal and sustainable. At the Department, she provided advisory support across Global Environment Facility negotiations. At TRAFFIC, she led program delivery for a USAID-funded wildlife trade program across four countries in Africa and Asia.
Marianne holds an MSc in Conservation Project Management from the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology and a BSc in Ecology and Philosophy from the Ateneo de Manila University.
She enjoys being outdoors on long walks or camping, but will also happily spend the day at home cooking, gardening, or curling up with a good book.
