Giovanna Maradei is the Institutional and Internal Communications Coordinator at WRI Brazil and is responsible for implementing the organization's positioning, outreach, and institutional alignment strategies.

Before joining WRI, Giovanna worked for 6 years as National Communications Manager at TETO | TECHO in Brazil and also worked occasionally with other institutes, such as the FICA Fund (managed by the Associação pela Comunidade Comunitária) and the Instituto Consulado da Mulher (a social action of the Whirlpool group in Brazil).

In addition to her work in the non-profit sector, Giovanna has experience as a reporter and editor for various publications of Editora Globo and Globo Condé Nast.

Currently, Giovanna is pursuing an MBA in communication management at ECA-USP. She holds a degree in Journalism from Fundação Cásper Líbero and in Advertising and Marketing from Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (ESPM-SP), with a postgraduate degree in Semiotics and Psychoanalysis from PUC-SP.
