Camila is a Senior Urban Development Analyst at WRI Brasil. She works with local and national governments on the design and implementation of urban public policies aimed at sustainable urban development and the reduction of inequalities. At WRI Brasil, she has contributed to projects that bring together urban transformation, participatory processes, climate justice, and the building and coordination of networks and coalitions. Camila is also a member of the Diversity Working Group, which discusses and proposes activities related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) at WRI Brasil.

Before joining WRI Brasil, Camila worked as an urban planner in urban design and landscape architecture, geoprocessing, and urban studies, and supported participatory urban planning and design projects. She served as vice president of the Institute of Architects of Brazil – Rio Grande do Sul (IAB-RS), where she took part in the development of participatory regional plans. She also held a research internship in sustainable urban development at UN-Habitat in Angola.

Camila holds a master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Propur/UFRGS), with a focus on climate justice and geoprocessing. She holds a degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from UFRGS, including studies at the Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS) at Erasmus University Rotterdam, in the Netherlands.
