Timothee is a Research Scientist within the Food, Land, and Water (FLW) Program at WRI. His work focuses on the links between material-intensive industrial systems, food systems, land use, and climate change, with a particular emphasis on the environmental externalities of extractive and resource-based industries. He combines quantitative modelling with policy and public affairs work to better understand how these externalities affect climate mitigation, land-use dynamics, and societal resilience, and to inform policies that support more sustainable and robust industrial and food systems transitions.

Prior to joining WRI, Timothee founded an industrial ecology research laboratory (Millennia Lab) within the Bouygues Group, which he subsequently developed into an independent spinoff. His work there focused on the environmental impacts and transition pathways of several subsectors of the construction industry, including material industries such as concrete and timber, as well as green finance, particularly within the venture capital sector.

Timothee holds an M.Sc. in Civil Engineering, with concentrations in Environmental Engineering and Climate Sciences, as well as an M.Arch. and a B.Sc., all from McGill University.
