Gabriel is a Research, Data, and Impact Intern at WRI Brasil. He supports the review of research content and publication formatting, as well as training sessions and seminars focused on providing research-related support to project teams. In parallel, he assists in optimizing workflows between the Research, Data, and Impact (RDI) team and WRI Brasil's programs.

Before joining WRI Brasil, Gabriel conducted research in the field of ecological anthropology. His project focused on exploring the potential convergence between modern technologies and Indigenous traditional knowledge in the construction of a sustainable future. To this end, he carried out a comparative analysis between Sumak Kawsay (the Indigenous concept of Buen Vivir, or "Good Living") and Solarpunk (an eco-fiction movement envisioning sustainable futures). Gabriel has also been involved in leadership and educational activities, including being the general coordinator of a student association's and working as a monitor in solidarity economy courses.

Gabriel is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP).
