Job Highlight:

We are looking for an Intern - IT Security & Operation to support the organisation’s security operations, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role will focus on monitoring and responding to security threats, managing vulnerabilities and access controls, supporting cloud security integrations, and ensuring effective security remediation.

The position will also play a key role in security analytics and reporting, including developing dashboards, scorecards, risk matrices, compliance reports, and security metrics to provide clear visibility into the organisation’s security posture. The role will collaborate closely with IT and business teams, maintain security documentation and operational procedures, and contribute to periodic audits and emerging threat assessments.

What you will do:

  • Respond to technical security issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Analyze security threats, vulnerabilities, and risk assessment reports.
  • Support security remediation activities by implementing changes, upgrades, and security controls.
  • Assist in integrating cloud applications with enterprise security solutions and troubleshoot integration issues.
  • Safeguard information system assets by identifying, analyzing, and helping resolve potential and actual security risks.
  • Support identity and access management by implementing and maintaining access controls, privileges, and security policies.
  • Monitor security events and alerts, investigate anomalies, and escalate incidents in accordance with established procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain security dashboards, operational reports, and executive summaries to provide visibility into the organization's security posture.
  • Collect, analyze, and visualize security data from multiple security platforms to create meaningful security metrics.
  • Develop and maintain security scorecards, risk matrices, compliance dashboards, and trend reports to track vulnerabilities, incidents, remediation progress, and overall security performance.
  • Assist in documenting security procedures, standards, technical documentation, and operational runbooks.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional IT and business teams to support security initiatives and continuous improvement.
  • Stay up to date with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices. Determines security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits.

What you will need:

  • Education- Graduation in related field (BE, B-tech, and BCA) 
  • Able to work with Zero Trust principles and security architecture.
  • Good knowledge of SIEM/SOAR, XDR, and Security Playbooks.
  • Understanding of Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) concepts and best practices.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft Entra ID Protection (Azure AD Identity Protection).
  • Understand the principles of data discovery, data protection, data classification, and data governance.
  • Advanced understanding of TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, OSI model, defense-in-depth, and common security elements.
  • Good hands-on knowledge creating presentations and visual way of presenting as part of security reporting

Location:  New Delhi

Duration:  3 months (Extendable based on performance and project requirements)
