Carrick Reddin
Lead, Community-Centered Partnerships

Carrick Reddin is the Lead, Community-Centered Partnerships at the World Resources Institute. In this role, he collaborates across the institute to strengthen WRI’s engagement with community centered actors, including Indigenous peoples, youth movements, faith-based organizations, labor networks, women’s groups, cultural actors, and local communities. His work focuses on documenting lessons, strengthening internal capacity, building relationships, and embedding inclusive practices into WRI’s partnership systems, tools, and typologies.
Prior to joining WRI, Carrick worked as Senior Policy Fellow at Georgetown University’s Environmental Justice Program, where he led a study on climate resilient sustainable development policies with the Government of Mongolia. Carrick has also held positions with AREP’s global urban planning practice, Rise Community Development’s affordable housing and urban planning teams, and the Children and Youth Constituency for Sustainable Communities.
Carrick holds a master’s degree from the Urban School at l’Institut d'études politiques de Paris and a bachelor’s degree in architecture and international development from Washington University in St. Louis. He co-founded the Climate Futures Studio, an interdisciplinary creative fellowship that supports emerging BIPOC and frontline artists in imagining just and resilient climate futures through art, storytelling, and public engagement. His artistic and journalistic works have been featured by the World Economic Forum, American Institute of Architects, United Nations Habitat, and Next City, among other publications.
