Nadine Munezero is the Program Manager for Circular Food Systems at World Resources Institute (WRI) Africa in Rwanda, where she leads the implementation of systems-based approaches to accelerate resilient, inclusive, and low-emissions food systems transformation. Her work focuses on circular economy solutions, food loss and waste reduction, Job creation and the mobilization of public and private investment into Rwanda’s agrifood sector.

Prior to joining WRI, Nadine served as an Agriculture Enterprise Development Specialist in the Economic Growth Office at USAID Rwanda, where she managed and supported multi-million-dollar agriculture and private sector development initiatives focused on SME growth, youth employment, climate resilience, and inclusive market systems. And also previously worked with AGRA (Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa) as a Program Coordinator based in Kigali, collaborating closely with government institutions, development partners, financial institutions, and private sector actors to strengthen agricultural transformation efforts across Rwanda. Throughout her career, she has worked extensively on initiatives aligned with Rwanda’s priorities, with a strong emphasis on linking policy, finance, innovation, and enterprise development.

Nadine holds an MBA from Oklahoma Christian University with a focus on project management and her expertise spans circular economy strategy, blended finance, agribusiness development, stakeholder engagement, and agriculture innovation systems.
