Victoria Bastos is a Project Coordinator at WRI Brasil, working within the Forests and Land Use team.

She has extensive experience in developing and managing initiatives focused on forest conservation and restoration, standing forest conservation, and nature-based solutions. Throughout her career, she has worked on payment for ecosystem services (PES) mechanisms, carbon projects, sustainable value chains, and agroforestry systems, fostering partnerships among civil society organizations, government agencies, local communities, and funding partners.

At WRI Brasil, Victoria coordinates the Fundo Flora and the Observatory on Payment for Ecosystem Services (OPSA) initiatives. Fundo Flora is an initiative dedicated to mobilizing resources to scale up landscape and forest restoration across Brazil, while OPSA promotes the production, organization, and dissemination of knowledge on payment for ecosystem services in Brazil.

Victoria holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management from the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture at the University of São Paulo (USP/ESALQ) and a postgraduate degree in Project Management from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV).
