Raquel Porto is a Communications Analyst II at WRI Brasil, where she works with the Climate and Energy Program.

Before joining WRI Brasil, she worked as a reporter and correspondent for Agência Mural de Jornalismo das Periferias, a news organization dedicated to covering the outskirts and underserved communities of São Paulo. She also worked at Poiesis as a Social Media Specialist and Press Officer for the Fábricas de Cultura network and the Casas das Rosas, Guilherme de Almeida, and Mário de Andrade museums.

Raquel holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism from São Judas Tadeu University and a postgraduate degree in Environmental Management from Senac University Center.
