Zac is a climate finance and development professional with a background in climate policy, international finance, and strategic partnerships. His work focuses on supporting governments, multilateral institutions, and donors to mobilise climate-aligned investment and strengthen access to global climate finance.

Prior to joining WRI, Zac worked at Pegasys, where he led analytical and advisory work for governments and multilateral partners across Africa and Asia. His experience spans investment pipeline development, climate finance proposals, and the design of enabling frameworks such as green finance taxonomies, Paris-alignment roadmaps, and institutional reform strategies.

Previously, Zac served as a Senior Policy Advisor to the UK Government, including during the COP26 Presidency. In this role, he advised on engagement with the Green Climate Fund and multilateral climate finance institutions, and led work on blended finance, governance, and transparency reforms.

Zac holds a Master’s degree in International Climate Policy and is based in the UK.
