Preparatory Committee for Habitat III, Surabaya, Indonesia 

The WRR team hosted an event, "Towards a More Equitable City: Shifting the Global Narrative to Action on the Ground," at the third session of the Preparatory Committee for Habitat III in Surabaya, Indonesia. The side event was moderated by Holger Dalkmann of WRI and Anjali Mahendra presented the framing of the WRR. The panel included Tri Rismaharini (Mayor of Surabaya), Joeseph D’ Cruz (UNDP), George Soraya (World Bank), Rose Molokoane (Shack/Slum Dwellers International), Rubbina Karruna (DFID) and David Dodman (Human Settlements Group, IIED). The discussion and conclusions from Surabaya are further discussed on the TheCityFix and WRI’s Insights blog.
